There is no ban on profanity. That's a joke. On any given day staff (teachers, administrators, lunch staff, paraprofessionals, custodians, etc) in a PPS high school will hear repeated profanity in the hallways as well as in the classrooms. If principals need to limit the days they can suspend students, do you honestly believe they are going to waste days on profanity. No. Yet another thing that sounds good for the media but is not enforced in real life.

How well is the PPS ban on profanity working? Is it being enforced?

Looking at the article again, maybe in PPS profanity is only banned if it causes "substantial and material disruption."
