Why should foundations pay Curtiss Porter's salary? The mayor's office should have enough funds to pay its own staff so that staff can remain independent of and avoid conflicts with foundations. Foundations have had a big influence on PPS and share responsibility for the poor results of the last decade.

I guess these people don't care about enrolling in PPS to take advantage of the Pgh. promise. Imagine that...
Charter students do get promise scholarships if they are city residents.
That's a win win situation then.
Just wondering. How are the new Chiefs doing in the Safety Division of the Pittsburgh Public Schools? Are their workers under them happy? What is happening? Mayor?
