Police arriving to break up a large fight had rocks thrown at them. The article reports that the teens involved attend Westinghouse and are from Homewood and Wilkinsburg.
Why would students from Wilkinsburg attend Westinghouse? Is there an arrangement between PPS and Wilkinsburg?

I have heard of some instances where joint custody gives a kid options. Is this a possibility?
These kids may have just killed the "half day" perk so many enjoyed today.
Hey, at least the rock throwers are on the pathway to the promise. They'll be fine down there at CCAC.
In all seriousnes,I suspect that the students were simply upset about the resignation of Mark "Big Papa" Roosevelt.
This did not happen at Westinghouse. It happened on Frankstown, at least two blocks away. To throw rocks at a police officer shows how troubled these kids are. It is not funny, it is tragic.
Clarified the header- it was after the kids left westinghouse when school let out early and went down the street.
