This is the blog section of the PURE Reform website. Please leave your thoughts and comments here.
PURE Reform has created this blog as a forum for parents, teachers and community members to share information and voice concerns regrading the reform process in the Pittsburgh Public Schools. Although we would like to foster constructive dialogue, PURE Reform does not edit content. The views expressed by bloggers in this forum are not necessarily views held by PURE Reform.

I have no student at either level of CAPA. I am not qualified to respond to any aspect of the report EXCEPT Transportation. My kids have ridden school buses for as long as they have been students. I live near and have been near many schools at dismissal time. I am going to sleep tonight with a smile on my face thinking about the comedy of the expected dismissal procedure. I know the city Planning Dept. approved the proposal for dismissal and I only hope to see it in practice. Staging, hahaha.

I have a copy of the one done by William Hileman, a CAPA teacher and teacher's union rep. How do I post it to this site?
