Please fill us in- where was this announced? Is the Hall of Fame something new or is this a yearly award?

Females don't count? Allderdice has 5 men and 2 women teaching health and physical education to a student population of almost 50/50 male/female students. And out of 14 possible female sports coaching positions, there are only 3 female coaches - One head and two assistants. What message does this send to female students?

How many women were in the now fired roles of POOL MATRONS? They were let go at the end of the 2007-08 school year.

All the matrons were women. By eliminating them, the BOE essentially also eliminated the swimming program in most schools. Swimming is a lifetime sport/activity but the powers that be don't care. And many of these matrons (paid on an hourly basis I might add), multi-tasked. So the BOE was really getting their monies worth out of these low paid ladies.
