High School Futures

Does anyone know what became of the "High School Futures" program described in this article from Fall 2008?

How does its work mesh with the teachers' academy?

The last I heard, the district had a shortfall in funding for such initiatives and the idea was scrapped. That after a great deal of tough talk and posturing to comprehensive high school staffs akin to, "If you don't agree to this, you may be closed."
Nice.

The man who is credited with greatly improving 3 schools is interesting. If he finished with Broad in 2002, and this article was written in 2008, those are pretty quick turn-arounds. Barely long enough to see if it even lasted, for sure. That and the accusations of grade inflation...

A problem is that a big announcement is made when an initiative is selected, but little or nothing is said when the decision is reversed. So people think there is something in the works and a situation is being addressed when that is not the case.

Did the Title IX audit report get published? I may have missed it when I was away.
