In summary, if you have or had a PNC paycard, left this district before the end of the year, or are or were on maternity leave, you are a victim of salary theft by the district in unison with the PFT 400. Post on here to get a file action suit against both entities, but more importantly to see Esposito and PPS district superintendents past and present in jail, but most importantly to get teachers who worked for this district the money earned. "

This goes for sick days too. When I was sick at the beginning of one school year , I couldn't start the year until after the first pay period. They used up around 17 or 18 of my sick days for me to receive my paycheck. If I had been sick at a different time in the year it would have only been 10 or less sick days used to receive the same pay. The union had nothing to say except to agree "it doesn't seem fair" I wonder if I can join this suit. Do you know who to contact?

Yes, email thomaspaine4281@gmail.com, and then get everyone you know who was a victim of wage theft by the district and the union to do the same. Think about this, why aren't teachers paid on 8/31 after working two weeks and/or why aren't teachers paid for the 18 days worked up until 9/14, instead of the 9.2 days they are paid? Answer: to steal the money from any worker without dick days, who quits, dies, or stops working before June.

First commenter: you hit the nail on the head, unless you worked the whole year. If you did, your last June paycheck covered the first two weeks. The wage theft only occurs if you stopped working during the year and did not receive your last paycheck, or if you did not receive the second paycheck in June at all. Many teachers have had their salaries stolen by the district in this manner, but the deal culprit is our own union who rescinded the promise via email to pay teachers on August 31st.

A note about making corrections- some commentators write in and ask for typos, etc to be corrected. The program only allows changes to the original post. If the change is important, commentators should submit a post that they are about to send a corrected version of their previous post, then submit the new version. The original comment can be deleted and replaced with the corrected version.
