Report on EFA goals

Not only was there "not an increase in the number of International Baccalaureate diplomas"- the number was much lower than before the program moved.

I don't understand. According to the A+ schools report, the graduation rate decreased by 2% from 2005 to 2009

Maybe the district is looking at the "Rand" method of calculating graduation, which looked at students from the time they started in 9th grade rather than the percentage of 12th graders that finished out the year. No update to the original Rand study seems to have been announced recently, though.

But it should be noted that the IB diplomas that were given "exceeded our wildest dreams." It should also be noted that putting three different school programs in the Reizenstein building, along with early childhood, has "exceeded all expectations", too.

Look, all they need to say about anything is that the result "exceeded their wildest dreams" and half the people who glance at the newspaper will be fooled.
