Open East End Panel meets this evening

The Open East End Panel meets this evening at the Reizenstein facility from 5:00 - 6:30.

A panel of individuals from a wide range of organizations and backgrounds, all committed to successful public education in the east end, has been assembled. On the agenda for tonight is the configuration of schools and feeder patterns in the east end. After the group concludes a series of meetings in January and February, a report on its findings and recommendations will be presented to the administration, the school board and the community.

The meeting is open for the public to observe.

The Open East End Panel now has a wiki listing members, meeting dates, relevant articles and data, and, while there is nothing like "being there," the meeting minutes.

Note that for the wiki, pages will be much easier to read and display fewer intrusive advertisements if you register by choosing a login name.
