No one cares about my oliver bears any more. Has the district beat us down so much, that there is no advocacy to help us.

Hey they did secure 1 million in hush money, so I guess people are being hush hush.

Why should they care for your Oliver Bears? They certainly did not care about the Schenley Spartans......

Nor did they care about the Peabody Highlanders.

We are all feeling the pains of school closings and it is especially causes emotions to run deep when a high school closes. However, as taxpayers we have to realize that costs have gone up and student population has gone down. We as taxpayers simply cannot afford to keep all of these schools open in every neighborhood. It's about economics, and not about a lack of caring.

It would have been cheaper to do a basic renovation to make Schenley useable, than to renovate and open 3 schools in its place.

What about brashear/langley.Its going to be nuts so I hope the security at brashear are ready and have thier boots tied tight.every 1 tends to forget this merger .It not going to a nice tranisition like they are trying to make us believe. It,s already starting on face book

You're right no one is talking about the Brashear/langley merger. Its as if the westend dont exist. I wonder why its this way. Dont the people in the west end care? Or do they understand that this must be done so why fight it. Thats what the peabody feeder pattern people did right?

The peabody feeder just didn't go to westinghouse. They went to milliones or other schools instead of fighting.
