Admission to Pittsburgh magnet and charter schools can be difficult

PPS gave up the wonderful buildings being used by the Environmental Charter School as "unneeded"; empty, enrollment was down, etc etc.

And now they are attracting countless students who otherwise would most likely have attended private school. Great location, beautiful building, but PPS could not see the possibilities. And then even when SHOWN success, they make the same mistake with Schenley.

Sorry Questioner, you can't show the current PPS administration anything. It's their way or the highway.

Let's hope the new Board members will change things for the better.
