Statistically significant in this case means that the difference in math performance of students in the five programs studied was most likely not due to chance. No information about whether this difference was tiny or large, just that there was a difference.

And that a foundation paid $50 million- yes, $50 MILLION- for this study (while contributing $1.45 million to the PPS summer program itself). Huh?!

What is the new "I'm not a robot" method of proving you are not a robot? What are the re CAPTCHA privacy terms? How does this work? And why does the time expire after 1 minute?

That's fine to have Summer Dreamers Academy yet to help students increase their math and reading skills basically almost like a tutoring program being instituted during summer. We remember Also you have tutoring through out the school year.i would like to know if you get a better turn out for students in the summer because they offer more activities.where as in the school year only time students get tutoring for math and reading are have problems in those classes it's great help prepare students the challenges they face doing the school year gives them a advantage being ready for the classes.i would also like to see a full court press for black males in second grade especially in READING those going to third grade to prevent that cycle the average black male can't READ by time get to third grade,

I don't want to see a "full court press" for black males in 2nd and 3rd grades.

Rather, I want to see them all compete in swim meets and be part of water polo teams.

That will get them smarter too.

Re: proving not a robot, CAPTCHA terms, etc- all of this is controlled by blogspot... maybe someone can find a link somewhere with information?
