Link to Racel Maddow show discussion about how lax gun control is affecting Homewood:

- While it is true that violence can occur anywhere, this link makes it clear that Homewood has been especially hard hit. Rev. Burgess explains that there are almost no businesses operating in Homewood, due to gun violence. That is not true everywhere. A drastic reduction in gun violence need to be the top priority.

This area is a political football now with a hot election. That could be a good thing.

There is an opportunity to keep the pressure on past the May primary if a resident who is an Indie ran for theNov election too.
