This is the blog section of the PURE Reform website. Please leave your thoughts and comments here.
PURE Reform has created this blog as a forum for parents, teachers and community members to share information and voice concerns regrading the reform process in the Pittsburgh Public Schools. Although we would like to foster constructive dialogue, PURE Reform does not edit content. The views expressed by bloggers in this forum are not necessarily views held by PURE Reform.

Interesting that Pittsburgh, which has its own Research Office and a plethora of assessment analysis that cost millions from RAND, Mathematica and others, has been unable to clear itself from this list.
None of the things that you mention, "Word" has anything to do with the items that you mention. These items are isolated from PDE and the wide and deep array of systems that connect directly to Pennsylvania Standards. The cheating inquiry is directly related to the PSSA which assesses Pennsylvania Standards. PPS Research Office, RAND, Mathematica and consultants have profited these entities but are NOT directly related to the PSSA which is the law in PA.
